Anita O. Legge, 62, of Mountain Top, died Friday morning, February 22, 2019, at home, with family by her side.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Marie Catany Ottaviani and was a graduate of Bishop Hoban High School and Penn State University, where she earned her Bachelors Degree. Anita was a Kindergarten teacher for 20 years at St. Jude's School, Mountain Top, where she was loved by all. She was an active member of St. Jude's Church where she volunteered at both the church and school. She enjoyed teaching, watching hockey, was an avid Rangers fan and spending time with her family, friends and students.
She is survived by her loving husband, Robert Legge; son, Nicholas Legge; brothers, Dr. Richard Ottaviani and his wife, Diane and Dr. Robert Ottaviani and his wife, Dody all of Mountain Top. She is also survived by a niece and nephew and many friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrate in St. Jude's Church, Mountain Top on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 1:00 pm with visitation from 12:00 noon until time of Mass.
Interment will be private in Glen Lyon.
