RICHARD WALIGORSKI, SR. Obituary

Richard L. Waligorski, Sr. 67, of Mountain Top, died Tuesday, October 22, 2019, in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center.

Born in Kingston, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary Schmanco Waligorski and was a graduate of Northwest Technical High School. Richard was a Mister Softee Ice Cream Vendor; enjoyed his work seeing all the smiles on children's faces while enjoying their treat and enjoyed working on cars.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded by brothers Joseph Waligorski, Jr; Edward Waligorski and sister, Evelyn Swiatovy

Survived by his wife, Sophia Barone Waligorski; son, Richard Waligorski of Mountain Top; daughter, Stefanie Adzema and her husband, Charles of Harleysville; grandchildren Charlie and Benjamin; sisters, Dorothy Kopacz of Plymouth and Marlene Hergan of Endicott, nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, at 10:30 am from the Desiderio-Lehman Funeral and Cremation, 436 S. Mountain Blvd. Mountain Top with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am from St. Jude's Church, Mountain Top.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 pm Friday, October 25, 2019 and from 10:00 am until time of service on Saturday.
