AALIYYAH A. CARDEN

Aaliyyah A. Carden, 26, of Hanover Township passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2023 in Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre.

Born in Newark, NJ, she was the daughter of Kiesha Dinson Gayles and the late Herman Carden who passed away in 2014. Aaliyyah was an educator and enjoyed cooking and decorating for parties.

In addition to her father, she was preceded by a niece, Sanai and her grandfathers; Herman Carden Sr. and Lamont Dinson .

Left to cherish her memory, in addition to her loving mother, are her stepfather, Timothy Gayles; fiancée Burnette Hopkins; siblings, Haniyyah Carden-Dinson, Samiyah Carden, and Allen Hargett Jr.; nieces and nephews, Samir, Christopher, Samad, Keilani, Kyra and Jason; grandmothers Kiziah Carden and Maryam Abdullah; and a host of other aunts, uncles, family and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted on Friday, May 5, 2023 at 11:00 am from the Desiderio-Lehman Funeral and Cremation, 436 S. Mountain Blvd. Mountain Top. Interment will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery, Hanover Township.
