Anthony V. Saracino, 68, of Nanticoke, passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2025.
Born in Sherman, Texas, he was the son of the late Anthony and Loris Saracino and was a graduate of GAR High School. Tony served his country proudly in the United States Air Force and was the recipient of the Air Force Training Ribbon, Air Force Good Conduct medal, Air Force Commendation Medal and Air Force Longevity Service Ribbon. He went on to dedicate many years of service as a Corrections Officer before retiring from SCI Dallas.
A passionate New York Yankees fan, Tony found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He especially enjoyed spending time at local shooting ranges, making cherished memories at Knoebels Amusement Park, and relaxing visits to Ocean City, Maryland with family and friends.
Tony is survived by his daughter, Amanda and her husband Sean Bartleson, his son Zachary Saracino; his granddaughter, Violet Bartleson; his brother , David and sister-in-law Judy Saracino, his brother Joseph and sister-in-law Debbie Saracino, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at 11:30 am from the Desiderio-Lehman Funeral and Cremation, 436 S. Mountain Blvd. Mountain Top. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township with military honors.
Friends are invited to join the family for a visitation from 10:00 am until time of service at the funeral home.
