BARBARA E. CRANSTON

Barbara E. Cranston, 90, of Mountain Top, passed away on Monday, October 25, 2021.

Born in Muncie, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Donald L. and Annabelle Spohn Fairchild and was a graduate of Muncie High School. She was an Organ and Piano teacher in Medford for many years. She was a seamstress, enjoyed making dolls and was a wonderful photographer.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Lou Cranston; sons, Larry Drue Higginson; Bobby Wayne Higginson and sister, Donna Bruster.

Barbara is survived by her daughter, Nola (Allen) Bowser of Mountain Top; grandchildren, Barbra (Granden) Ledyard of Gibbstown, NJ; Michael (Julie) Pounders of Forest Ranch, CA; five great grandchildren, Granden, Sara, Renee, Sebastian, Orion; brother, Thomas Fairchild of Peru, In; niece and nephews and step grandchildren, Timothy Bowser and Scott Bowser.

She will be buried with her beloved Lou in Oregon.
