Bernard J. Kazmeroski, 86, of Mountain Top, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, December 4, 2021.
Born in Kingston, November 15, 1935, he was the son of the late Joseph and Catherine Kazmeroski, was a graduate of Wyoming Seminary and earned his Bachelor of Science Degree from King's College. Bernie was employed by Upjohn Pharmaceutical as a sales representative for over 30 years prior to his retirement. He was a member of St. Jude's Church, Mountain Top, and the Nuangola Rod and Gun Club.
Bernie was an accomplished trap shooter and enjoyed spending time with his friends at the gun club and at the family farm in the Back Mountain area.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 57 years, Theresa Rodriguez Kazmeroski and son, James.
Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Julie (John) Helinski of Wilkes-Barre; step granddaughter, Rachel Helinski of Philadelphia; sisters and brothers in law, Joan (Carl, deceased) Rodriguez, FL; Stella (Jack) Linehan, Kent, NY; Joe (Patti) Rodriguez of Shavertown; numerous nieces and nephews.
A Blessing service will be conducted on Thursday, December 9, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. from the Desiderio-Lehman Funeral and Cremation, 436 S. Mountain Blvd., Mountaintop, PA with Deacon Jim officiating. Entombment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery Mausoleum.
Friends are invited to join the family for a visitation on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friends may also visit Thursday, 9:30 a.m. until time of service.
