CAROL ANN SEDON

Carol Ann Sedon, 65, of Mountain Top, passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2022 in the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Alice Burke and was a graduate of Hanover Area High School. Carol went on to earn her Master Degree from King's College in teaching and was a member of St. Jude's church and choir. In her early life, she worked as a banker for M&T bank, formerly known as Franklin First. Most recently, she was an elementary teacher for Holy Family Academy, Hazleton, St Aloysius School in Wilkes-Barre and St. Jude's in Mountain Top.

In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her loving husband, Paul and brother, Daniel Burke.

She is survived by her son, Paul T. Sedon and his girlfriend Katie Crawford; daughter Alyson Sedon, brother/sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews, and cousins.

Funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, December 15, 2022 at 9:30 am from the Desiderio-Lehman Funeral and Cremation, 436 S. Mountain Blvd. Mountain Top with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Jude's Church. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township.

Friends are invited to join the family for a visitation on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 from 6pm to 8pm and Thursday morning from 9:00 am until time of service.
