CLAIRE L. PRESTON
Obituary
Claire L. Preston, of Hanover Township, passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at home.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late John and Beatrice Munley Sauer, was employed as a LPN and enjoyed spending time with family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph J. Preston in 1987; grandson, AJ Uranowski; brother, Joseph Sauer and two sisters, Mildred and Geraldine Sauer.
Claire is survived by daughters, Kathleen Preston of Hanover Township; Maureen Preston of West Pittston; Joan Cochran of Luzerne; Janice Preston-Oltra and her husband, Ed, of Sweet Valley and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 25, 2022, at 10:00 am in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, Barney St. Wilkes-Barre, with Reverend Richard Cirba officiating. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Twp.
Friends are invited to join the family for a visitation from 9:30 am until time of Mass at the Church.
Arrangements are under the care of the Desiderio-Lehman Funeral and Cremation, Mountain Top.
