David H. Dincher, Jr., 60, of Wapwallopen, passed away at home on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 after a lengthy illness, with loved ones by his side.
Born on September 20, 1964 in Muncy, PA, he was the son of the late David H. Dincher, Sr and Barbara A. Barto Dincher. David, as known as Dave, was a graduate of the Scranton State School for the Deaf, Class of 1984 and was a member of the American Legion Post 781 and Wilkes Barre Society for the Deaf. He was an avid fisherman, bowler, pool and dart player. Dave enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penn State football games.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Mark Dincher who passed away in 2017.
He is survived by his girlfriend of 18 years, Rachel (Cooper) Gray, sister Tammy Parker and her husband Jim; niece Kaylee Miles of Rio Grande, NJ; daughter Elizabeth Longo, grandson Matthias, Freeland, aunts, uncles and numerous cousins.
Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024 from 5 to 8 pm at the Desiderio-Lehman Funeral and Cremation, 436 S. Mountain Blvd. Mountain Top.
