ERIC LEE HOFFMAN

Eric Lee Hoffman, 37, of Mountain Top, passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2020.

He was born in Berwick on November 21, 1982 and was the son of Carey and Cheryl Hoffman of Mountain Top.

He attended Crestwood High School. Eric served in the United States Army 82nd Airborne with an honorable discharge. He received the National Defense Medal, army Service Ribbon, Expert Marksmanship Qualification Badge with Rifle Bar, Parachutist Badge. He later went on to attend LCCC where he earned a degree in Plumbing and Heating Technologies. He was employed by ON Semiconducter in Mountain Top.

Eric liked to attend auctions. Most of all he love the outdoors, hunting with his wife, riding his motorcycle and spending time with his loved ones.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Charissa Hoffman.

In addition to his parents, surviving is his loving wife, Ashlen Kuhar Hoffman, sisters Kim, and her husband Joe Bowers; Holly Hoffman and her companion James; mother and father-in-law, Thomas and Rosanne Kuhar; brother-in-law, Christopher Kuhar; sister-in-law Randie Kuhar, as well as nieces and nephews, all whom loved him very much.

In lieu of mass cards and flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude's Building Fund.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 25, 2020, in St. Jude's Church, Mountain Top at 10:00 am with Reverend Joseph Evanko officiating.  Interment will follow in Emmanuel Dorrance Cemetery.
