EVERLEIGH SOPHEAN McLAUGHLIN

Everleigh Sophean McLaughlin, 14 months, of Mountain Top; died in Children's Hospital Of Philadelphia, in her parents arms on Thursday, May 20, 2021.

Born in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Township, she was the daughter of Shawn and Stephanie Vital McLaughlin of Nuangola.  During her fourteen short months here on Earth, she touched many lives and was loved deeply by her family and friends.  Her life was  a brief gift to us that will live on as her kidneys were donated to two people in need. She was a superhero and saved two peoples lives. She had a contagious laugh and beautiful smile that would light up any room. She loved eating and she loved her big sissy and her doggie Sid. 

Left to cherish her memory, in addition to her parents, are her sister Giana Rose McLaughlin; paternal grandparents, William and Mary McLaughlin, maternal grandparents, Jacqueline and Mark A. Vital Sr.; Great Grandparents, Jean and Robert Romanelli; Elizabeth McLaughlin; Mary Lou Novak; and Alice and Jim Crablo. Uncles, Mark Jr., Anthony, Michael and Nicholas Vital; Billy McLaughlin; Clayton Drasher, Aunts, Lauren, Brittany and Megan McLaughlin; Ashley Drasher. She is also survived by cousins Aiden, Julian and Everett Daubert; Creed Ridall. 

Funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, May 25, 2021, at 5:30 pm from the Desiderio-Lehman Funeral and Cremation, 436 S. Mountain Blvd. Mountain Top with Reverend Michelle Kaufman officiating.

Friends are invited to join the family for a visitation from 4:00 pm until time of service.
