Gene Elisha Daisey, Sr. of Wapwallopen, died on Thursday, September 29, 2022 in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center.
Born in Salisbury, Maryland, he was the son of the late Harry Law and Mary Almira Vickers Daisey and graduated from Lord Baltimore High School. Gene was a horse trainer for Standardbred Harness Racing, was a member of the US Trotting Association and enjoyed golfing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Harry and Alfred Daisey.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Alice Faye Wingate Daisey; sons, Gene E. (Charlia) Daisey Jr. of Wapwallopen, Scott Daisey of Delray Beach, FL; adored grandchildren, who poppop affectionately named, Big Goose and Little Goose, Gene Daisey III and Charlene Daisey. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
There will be no public services.
