GEORGINA M. CARSON

Georgina M. Carson, 95, of Mountain Top, died on Tuesday evening, June 15, 2021 at Allied Skilled Nursing, Meade St., Wilkes-Barre.

Born in Belfast, Northern Ireland UK, she was the daughter of the late James and Edith Molyneaux Taylor. She was an Administrative Assistant for Traveler's Insurance Company, prior to retirement and loved to knit, do puzzles, dance and spend time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, William Carson.

She is survived by daughters: Elizabeth (Ron) Fisher, of Medicine Hat, Canada; Janie Marie ( John) Leonick of Monroe, New York; son: Paul (Miriam) Carson of Mountain Top; grandchildren, James and Michael Carson; Brian and Amy Fisher; and John James Leonick; great grandchild Cassidy Fisher.

Funeral service will be conducted on Monday, June 21, 2021 at 12:00 noon from the Desiderio-Lehman Funeral and Cremation, 436 S. Mountain Blvd, Mountain Top. Prayer service will follow at 12:30 pm in Maple Hill Cemetery Chapel, Hanover Twp.

Post Funeral Luncheon will be held following the interment, at 1:30 at Adelinas Restaurant, 166 S. Mountain Blvd. Mountain Top, PA 18707.

Visitation will be from 10:30 am until time of service at the funeral home.
