Ignatius H. Slusarczyk, 91, of Mountain Top, died Sunday morning, August 15, 2021, in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center.
Born in Dupont, he was the son of the late John and Jospehine Kasprezak Slusarczyk and was employed as a milkman. He was a member of St. Judes Church and enjoyed fishing, hunting and picking mushrooms.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his five brothers, William, John, Anthony, Albert and Edward Slusarczyk.
Ignatius is survived by his loving wife, Anges Sipple Slusarczyk; son, Robert Slusarczyk of Mountain Top; Elaine Slusarczyk of Mountain Top; Linda (Rick) Clark of Nuangola; Janice Slusarczyk and her companion, Andy of Mountain Top; Sharon (Garry) Bat of Hanover Township; grandchildren, Kristal Faust and Ashlyn Slusarczyk; great grandchildren, Olivia, Nathan, Caiden, Caleb and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Funeral service will be conducted on Friday, August 20, 2021, at 9:30 am from the Desiderio-Lehman Funeral and Cremation, 436 S. Mountain Blvd. Mountain Top, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Jude's Church, Mountain Top.
Friends are invited to join the family for a visitation on Thursday, August 19, 2021, from 5 to 7 pm and Friday morning, from 9:00 am until time of service.
