JAMES R. GOLD

James R. Gold, 51, of Wilkes-Barre Township, formerly of Mountain Top, passed away suddenly on Sunday evening, March 3, 2024.

Born in Lower Merion Township, he was the son of the late Robert and Sonia  Dudrick Gold and was a graduate of Bishop Hoban High School.  Jim worked for Ayers Towing , Walmart Automotive and was a member of Wilkes-Barre Township Volunteer Fire Department, of which the members were his second family.

Left to cherish his memory is his son Brian James Gold and his wife, Kailie of Luzerne; one granddaughter; siblings, Patti Brodginski of Mountain Top, John Gold and his wife, Kathy of Danville, Stephen Gold of Plains; multiple nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be conducted on Thursday, March 14 at 11 am. Please meet us at the Wilkes-Barre Township Volunteer Fire Department 152 Watson Street, Wilkes-Barre Township, Pa.

The family is requesting no flowers, instead they request that a donation be made to the Wilkes- Barre Township Volunteer Fire Company in Jimmy's memory.
