JOSEPH J. PUGH

Joseph J. “Jimmy” Pugh, 71, of Mountain Top, died on Tuesday evening, January 18, 2022, in the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

Born in Plymouth, he was the son of the late Charles and Amelia McElwee Pugh and worked for Lucas Farms, Hanover Township for many years, prior to retirement.

In addition to his parents, Jimmy was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Marie Nemic Pugh; siblings, Charles Pugh and Sally Pavone.

He is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Kopco and her husband, Andy of Nanticoke; sons, Michael and Joseph Pugh of Wilkes-Barre; dog, Buddy; siblings, Diane Duca, Shirley Noonan, Pat Sabecky, Mary Kitzmiller, William T. “Bill” Pugh, Joan Sistrunk, nieces and nephews.

His wishes were to have no public services with burial in Alberts Cemetery.
