Judith Marilyn Gonshor, 82, of Lancaster, formerly of Dorrance, passed away on Friday evening, October 30, 2020, at Linden Village, Lebanon.
Born in Ironton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary Densmore Crosby. A graduate of Balboa High School, Panama Canal. She continued her education at Massachusetts General Hospital, where she graduated and became a registered nurse. She served her country proudly as a Flight Nurse in the United States Air Force, alongside her husband during the Vietnam Era. Judy continued her service by working at the VA Hospital and volunteered at the free health care clinic in Wilkes-Barre. She was the Queen Bee for the “Lilac Ladies” Red Hats, a member of St. Mary’s Church, Dorrance and the American Legion, Mountain Top. She enjoyed to travel and spend time with her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her loving husband, Alfred P. Gonshor in 2009.
She is survived by her brother Charles Crosby of Tucson, AZ; her daughter, Jackie Lebbon and her husband, Lee of Annville; grand dogs, Alfie and Ziggy; her son Joe and his wife Diane of Lancaster; grandchildren, Shannon, Shane and Kevin.
A Private Family Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady Help of Christians Church, Dorrance and burial, with Military Honors, in parish cemetery.
Desiderio-Lehman Funeral and Cremation are assisting the family.
