KAREN HINE JONES

Karen Hine Jones, 57, of Mountain Top, died Friday, June 26, 2020 in the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

Born in Hillington, England, she was the daughter of the late Marian Hine Kaschak and step daughter to Joseph Kaschak of Dallas. She graduate from Empire Beauty School and was employed as a beautician for Michelle Deckers Beauty Shop, Kingston. Karen was also a musician and singer, along with her husband and loved animals, riding horses and taking vacations, especially to the beach. Karen, along with her mother, Marian Kaschak, were members of TBPA, the Luzerne chapter for British born women.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded by her niece, Angelina Lynne Rovinski.

In addition to her step father, she will be greatly missed and survived by her loving husband, Martin Jones; step son, Martin Beamer of Harrisburg; granddaughter, Maya of Myrtle Beach; mother in law, Jane Jones of Mountain Top and extended Jones and Kaschak families.

Memorial service will be conducted on Friday, July 3, 2020, at 6:00 pm from the Desiderio-Lehman Funeral and Cremation, 436 S. Mountain Blvd. Mountain Top.

Friends are invited to join the family, for a visitation on Friday from 4 to 6 pm at the funeral home.
