LEROY MURDOCK Obituary
Leory W. Murdock, of Mountain Top, passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2023 at the home of his daughter in Nuangola.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Patrick and Mary Mrochko and was a graduate of Coughlin High School, Class of 1955. Leroy enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodworking and served his country proudly in the United States Army Reserves.
Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, is his wife, Kathleen Moore Murdock son, Leroy W. Murdock Jr.; great grandson Austin Yaple and siblings, Robert, Frank and Earl Murdock.
He is survived by his three daughters, Donna Yaple and her husband, Mike of Ashley, Diane Jacobs and her husband, Sam of Sweet Valley, Catherine Otto and her husband, Stan of Nuangola; grandchildren, Amber Jacobs, Stan Otto, Kyle Jacobs, Dmitri Yaple, Michael Yaple; three great grandchildren, Autumn Jacobs, Addyson, Jacobs, Danny Yaple; nieces and nephews.
Memorial Service will be conducted on Friday, November 24, 2023 at 5:30 pm from the Desiderio-Lehman Funeral and Cremation, 436 S. Mountain Blvd, Mountain Top.
Friends are invited to join the family for a visitation Friday from 3:00 pm until time of service.
