MARY GOLDA Obituary

Mary Alice Golda (Feddock) of Mountain Top, formerly of Marion Heights and Mount Carmel, passed away on Tuesday, November 25, 2025.

 

She was born on July 22, the daughter of John and Helen Feddock of Mount Carmel. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Leonard, brother George Feddock and sisters, Anna Carta and Rose Shannon.

 

She is survived by Leonard, her husband of 64 years, son Richard Golda, daughter Cheryl Zurawski and her husband Dennis; grandchildren, Devin Zurawski and companion Alexandra Devarie, Enrique Golda, Nicole Zurawski and many nieces and nephews.

 

Mary was a devout Catholic and member of St. Jude's Church, where she was active in the Altar and Rosary Society, helping in the school cafeteria and helping teachers grade papers.  She enjoyed baking her favorite pineapple squares, traveling, spending time with her family and going for coffee/breakfast.  She loved Sunday rides to Sullivan County.  She enjoyed going to many Johnny Mathis concerts and watching Tiger Woods on TV.  She was employed by Dana Perfumes and American Cigar.

 

She will be remembered by all as a strong, sweet, kind and caring person.  She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

 

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday December 3, 2025 at 10:00 am from the Desiderio-Lehman Funeral and Cremation, 436 S. Mountain Blvd. Mountain Top with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am in St. Jude's Church, Mountain Top with Reverend William Asinari officiating.  Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Drums.

 

Friends are invited to join the family for a visitation on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 from 5 to 7 pm and again on Wednesday morning from 9:30 am until time of service.

 

Thank you to all caregivers at the Mountain Top Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center supporting Mary during her time there.
