MARY F. SWANDICK

Mary F. Swandick, 91, a resident of Mountain Top since 1952, passed away on Wednesday evening, Mary 10, 2023, with family by her side.

Born in Plains Township, she was the daughter of the late Constanty and Jennie Piotrowsky Orbik and was a graduate of Plains  High School. She worked for RCA, prior to retirement and was a member of St. Jude's Church, Mountain Top. Mary enjoyed traveling, especially with family, an occasional trip to the casino and dinner with friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John F. Swandick; daughter, Jacqueline Swandick; brothers, Stanley Orbik and John Orbik.

She is survived by her children, Barbara (Michael) Duda of Mountain Top, Patricia Swandick of Richardson, Texas; grandchildren, Robyn Duda of Atlanta, GA, Lee Duda of Philadelphia; sister, Genevieve Gonshor of Wilkes-Barre; sister in law, Ann Orbik; nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, May 15, 2023 at 10:00 am in St. Jude's Church, Mountain Top. Friends are invited to join the family for a visitation from 9:30 am until time of Mass at the Church.

Arrangements under the direction of the Desiderio-Lehman Funeral and Cremation, Mountain Top.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Church, 420 South Mountain Blvd. Mountain Top.
