Patricia Ann Gruscavage, of Mountain Top, died on Saturday, December 11, 2021, in the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. The love of our lives is now watching over us from heaven.
Born in Peckville, she was the daughter of the late George and Helen Tabor Drutarovsky; was a graduate of Jessup High School and earned her Associates Degree from the Scranton State School of Nursing. Patricia worked as a Registered Nurse in hospital, home health, Allied Services and Private practice over a long nursing career. Pat was a caring and skilled nurse who put her patients as the first priority. She was a member of St. Jude's Church, Mountain Top and Volunteered for many organizations, including St. Paul's Church, Free Medical Clinics. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Pat enjoyed traveling, loved historical places and yearly beach vacations at Myrtle Beach. Pat was an avid Notre Dame fan and enjoyed watching college and NFL football, NBA games and baseball playoffs with her husband. Pat and Frank traveled to various casinos over the years for lots of vacation fun.
She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Frank Gruscavage; daughter, Jennifer Pachick and her husband, Ray of Huntersville, NC; son, Daniel Gruscavage and his wife, Abbie of Canton, GA; grandchildren, Makenzie and Austin Pachick; Charles, Clara and Lucy Gruscavage. She is also survived by two sisters, Rose (David) Moczulski of Dunmore; Kay (John) Johnson of Eynon; nieces and nephews.
A Family Funeral Service and visitation was conducted from the Desiderio-Lehman Funeral and Cremation, 436 S. Mountain Blvd. Mountain Top with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Jude's Church.
