PATRICIA WHITMIRE

Patricia Whitmire, 85, of Dorrance Township, died at home, with family by her side.

Born in Nanticoke, she was the daughter of the late Adam and Sophie Tafil Roman and was a graduate of Newport Township High School.  She worked at RCA, prior to retirement; enjoyed an occasional trip to the Casino and watching Nascar races.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband Leonard in 2010 and son Terrence in 2020.

Left to cherish her memory is her son Leonard Whitmire of Mountain Top; daughter Constance Rebarchak of Nanticoke; five grandchildren, Kristen Whitmire, Tara Whitmire, John Rusczyk, Jeremy Rusczyk and Danielle Julius; five great grandchildren; siblings, Florence Mogavero, Raymond Roman, Joseph Roman and Marie Levine.

Private burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Dorrance will be held at the convenience of the family.
