Robert Williams Obituary

Robert F. Williams, 96, of Mountain Top, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 16, 2026, at Mountain Top Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Mountain Top.


Born September 11, 1929, in Nanticoke, PA to the late Frank and Sarah Williams. Robert graduated from Nanticoke High School and attended the American Management School in New York. He was a faithful member of St. Judes Parish, Mountain Top. Robert honorably enlisted and served in the U.S. Army and was a long-time member of the Mountain American Legion Post 0781. Robert was employed by Pennsylvania Gas & Water for 40 years, until retiring in 1992. He was on active member of the Mountain Top area Lions Club for 25 years, serving as President and Treasurer. Roberts enjoyed traveling with his beloved wife of 66 years, Connie, prior to her death in 2025 and could often be found lounging by the pool or cutting wood for the wood stove.


He is survived by his son, Tracy, with wife, Robyn, also of Mountain Top.


Funeral service will be held at St. Judes Parish, in Mountain top, on Friday, March 20, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM prior to the service at Desiderio- Lehman Funeral Home, Mountain Top.

Interment will be at St. Joeseph’s Cemetery, Nanticoke.
