Sherry Kay Sambora, 63, of Mountain Top, died on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 in the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Born in Williamsport, she was the daughter of the late Paul A. and Beatrice Kahler Mendler and graduated Hughesville High School. Sherry worked for over 30 years as an administrative assistant for Merrill Lynch, retiring three years ago. She enjoyed reading, doing arts & craft and painting. Sherry loved spending time with her family, pets and traveling.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Gary and Robert Mendler and niece Michele.
Sherry is survived and will be missed by her loving husband, George Sambora, sister Beth (Thomas) Amos; brother, James Mendler; sister in law Laurie (Jack Mundie) Sambora, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Memorial visitation will be conducted on Monday, June 13, 2022 at 9:00 am in St. Jude's Church, 420 S. Mountain Blvd. Mountain Top, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am
Arrangements under the direction of the Desiderio-Lehman Funeral and Cremation, 436 S. Mountain Blvd. Mountain Top.
