Shirley M. Keefe, 91, of Mountain Top, passed away on Saturday evening, June 28, 2025.
Born in Plymouth, Shirley was the daughter of the late Walter and Julia Naylor Zola. She was a dedicated worker at RCA before her retirement, and she spent her life devoted to her family, faith, and many passions.
Shirley found great joy in the simple pleasures of life—baking treats for loved ones, traveling to new places, enjoying rounds of golf with friends, and making the occasional lucky stop at the casino. She was a longtime and active member of St. Jude Church in Mountain Top and a proud member of the Wyoming Valley Country Club, where she shared many memories on the golf course.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Stanley Keefe; her brothers, Robert and Walter Zola; and her sister, Carol Kotch.
Shirley leaves behind a legacy of love and family. Cherishing her memory are her children: Karen (Dino) Mazarki of Dallas, Marcella (Al) Baiada of Harleysville, and Stanley (Mary Ann) Keefe of Mountain Top. She will be lovingly remembered by her six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
A private family funeral will be held under the direction of Desiderio-Lehman Funeral and Cremation, Mountain Top.
Shirley will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for her warmth, strength, and the joy she brought to those who knew her.
