Victor J. Kulpa, Jr. of Drums, died on Sunday, December 18, 2022, at home.
Born in Buffalo, NY, he was the son of the late Victor and Alice Kulpa; was a graduate of St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute and earned his Bachelor's Degree from Canisius College, Buffalo, NY. Victor served his country proudly in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was the recipient of the National Defense Service Medal. Victor worked as a Human Resource Manager prior to retirement and was a substitute teacher in the Crestwood School District after his retirement. He was a member of St. Jude's Church, Mountain Top and was an avid Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres fan. He was a huge history buff, was active in scouting in his younger years, enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, traveling to Cape Cod, and spending time with family.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Shirley (Zakrzewski) Kulpa, children, Nadine (Jim) McCormack of Northport, NY, Jennifer Kulpa of South Orange, NJ, Timothy (Stephanie) Kulpa of Mountain Top; three grandchildren, James, Lauren and Hailey; sister, Patricia Barber of Los Angeles, CA; brother, James Kulpa of Tonawanda, NY; nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at 10:30 am from the Desiderio-Lehman Funeral and Cremation, 436 S. Mountain Blvd. Mountain Top with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Jude's Church at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Drums.
Friends are invited to join the family for a visitation at the funeral home from 9:30 am until time of service.
