William John Taylor, 69, of Wilkes-Barre, died Thursday, April 16, 2020 in Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born in Shickshinny, he was the son of the late William F. and Marjorie A. Shaffer Taylor and was a graduate of Northwest High School. Bill served his country proudly in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was employed as a carpenter. He enjoyed coaching and watching football and was an avid Giants and Penn State Football Fan.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded by a sister, Linda Killian.
He is survived by his loving wife, Rosa Marie Skipper Taylor; children, Shawn Taylor, Patrick Taylor, O'Shea Taylor, Jasmine Taylor, Raquel Taylor, Beanna Taylor, Alethea Harris, Alex Fauntleroy, Jimmy Taylor, James Harris, John Harris; many grandchildren. He is also survived by siblings, Marjorie Mausteller, Sherry Raby, Harry Taylor and Charles Taylor and close friends Jean Vangilder and family, Victor Vega and Chuck Eckrich.
Due to COVID-19, there will be no private visitation and services will be held private at the convenience of the family.
